In the 2nd minute, Jorge Montez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Faustino Rencio was a little too slow when Zé Trigo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-1. Zé Trigo scored 2-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Rencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 played minutes Sumaré Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Severo Gomesano. After 20 played minutes Sumaré Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Severo Gomesano. 23 minutes into the match, Kakeros FC's Jorge Montez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Sumaré Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Matai came free, but Richard Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Sumaré Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Severo Gomesano. Richard Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Montez in the 32nd minute of the match. Sumaré Sport Club's attentive Jessica Xerifão managed to snatch the ball when Arnoldo Prejun made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Olívio Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Faustino Rencio made a huge save. Sumaré Sport Club's Richard Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Matai in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sumaré Sport Club's goalkeeper Richard Fontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Olívio Matos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Faustino Rencio. That made the score 3-1 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Kakeros FC made a substitution. Elias Fidencio replaced Mateo Uhin. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Matai was the one to do the kick off. Kakeros FC's Faustino Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Chmelyk in the 57th minute of play. Faustino Rencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Trigo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Alfred Chmelyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Rencio having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kakeros FC defense, Zé Trigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Rencio. The Kakeros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Rencio should have stopped the shot. After 75 played minutes Sumaré Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Severo Gomesano. Kakeros FC:s Faustino Rencio showed great skill when he stopped Jessica Xerifão:s penalty. In the 79th minute, Jessica Xerifão made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Rencio. Kakeros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Gerardo Matai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Richard Fontes made a huge save. Faustino Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olívio Matos in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Rencio saved Kakeros FC from getting behind. Faustino Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Chmelyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Faustino Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Trigo in the 88th minute of play. Faustino Rencio came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Sumaré Sport Club's Olívio Matos. But to his dismay, Olívio Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. If Jessica Xerifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Kakeros FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Alvaro Rioja hit a great ball. Jessica Xerifão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Faustino Rencio. Kakeros FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There was no doubt that Sumaré Sport Club were the better team. Sumaré Sport Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
