In the 2nd match minute, 27 de Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fábio Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 27 de Mayo's Rogério Soberano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Madureira in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, 27 de Mayo's Claudinei Tasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fábio Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Luiz Fábio Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Luiz Fábio Magalhães was a little too slow when Claudinei Tasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, FURIOSOS's Kauã Munhoz got a free kick in the 16th minute. Luiz Fábio Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes FURIOSOS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Castro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led 27 de Mayo's Alex Castro to fire away a dangerous shot which Luiz Fábio Magalhães despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jailson Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Claudinei Tasso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fábio Magalhães came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudinei Tasso slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 20th minute. The supporters of 27 de Mayo booed when FURIOSOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Alex Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Zézinho Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fábio Magalhães. FURIOSOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zézinho Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinei Tasso made a kick off. The supporters of 27 de Mayo booed when FURIOSOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alex Castro fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 27 de Mayo's protests and gave Alex Castro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, 27 de Mayo's Alex Castro got a free kick in the 56th minute. Luiz Fábio Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zézinho Rossi went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Luiz Fábio Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes FURIOSOS got a freekick which was hit by Duda Rosa. 72 minutes into the match, Claudinei Tasso notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of FURIOSOS's Luiz Fábio Magalhães. Luiz Fábio Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luiz Fábio Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Tasso in the 77th minute of play. Luiz Fábio Magalhães came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by 27 de Mayo's Zézinho Rossi. But to his dismay, Zézinho Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 94th minute Zézinho Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 27 de Mayo had played much better football throughout.
