The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of BRC WeeD Dogs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of México Eterno MZC:s goal. After some careless play in the BRC WeeD Dogs defense, Aristide Ciuvică kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Van Herendael. The BRC WeeD Dogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Van Herendael should have stopped the shot. Aristide Ciuvică blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Van Herendael having to make a save. In the 19th minute Aristide Ciuvică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Van Herendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristide Ciuvică's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Van Herendael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. México Eterno MZC's Jailson Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save México Eterno MZC from getting a goal against them. After 27 minutes México Eterno MZC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Augusto Rocha who took care of the corner kick. Kees Kluivert was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 32nd minute Bebeto Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jailson Aparecido stood somewhat misplaced when Bebeto Jacinto came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 32 minute. In the 38th match minute, BRC WeeD Dogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timeteo Cedofeita to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Aristide Ciuvică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Van Herendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, BRC WeeD Dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Ciuvică came free, but Henry Van Herendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The BRC WeeD Dogs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. México Eterno MZC were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Bebeto Jacinto made the kick off in the second half. Aristide Ciuvică blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Van Herendael having to make a save. Aristide Ciuvică struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Henry Van Herendael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for México Eterno MZC. Henry Van Herendael came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by México Eterno MZC's Aristide Ciuvică. But to his dismay, Aristide Ciuvică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Henry Van Herendael was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Aristide Ciuvică capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristide Ciuvică really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. In the 64th minute, Aristide Ciuvică ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Van Herendael was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Ciuvică in the 69th minute of play forced BRC WeeD Dogs's goalkeeper Henry Van Herendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, México Eterno MZC's Aristide Ciuvică nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Van Herendael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. After 78 minutes BRC WeeD Dogs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diego Ribas who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Gaudencio Pancho advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-8 in the 79th minute. BRC WeeD Dogs's Henry Van Herendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Chao Ke in the 86th minute of play. BRC WeeD Dogs made a substitution. Eduardo Beltrami replaced Sidney Pimenta. In the 88th minute of the match México Eterno MZC got a corner. BRC WeeD Dogs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Ribas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Kaká Vieira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henry Van Herendael quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Henry Van Herendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Chao Ke, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Timeteo Cedofeita made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by México Eterno MZC's Arsene Van Mechelen.
