Edinho Mello's late challenge caught a BRC WeeD Dogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinho Mello helped the player get up and apologised. 2 minutes into the game, one of S.E. Cachoeirinha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Betão de Amaral had in the 3rdth minute some difficulties stopping Bebeto Jacinto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball If Sidney Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sidney Pimenta. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match Sidney Pimenta climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Betão de Amaral. Sidney Pimenta might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão de Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidney Pimenta ran back to his position shaking his head. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Pimenta in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sidney Pimenta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Betão de Amaral. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. If Sidney Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral got control of the ball when Sidney Pimenta tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to BRC WeeD Dogs getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Elpidio Gar hit a great ball. Henry Van Herendael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Prata in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Sidney Pimenta took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Betão de Amaral to make any attempt to save it. Sidney Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Betão de Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BRC WeeD Dogs. 35 minutes in the game, Sidney Pimenta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Betão de Amaral having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Sidney Pimenta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Betão de Amaral. That made the score 5-0 in the 37 minute of play. Sidney Pimenta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betão de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Betão de Amaral was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Sidney Pimenta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sidney Pimenta really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. 45 minutes into the match, Sidney Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Betão de Amaral. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidney Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otávio Arce made a kick off. BRC WeeD Dogs's Henry Van Herendael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save BRC WeeD Dogs from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the match, Sidney Pimenta notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral. Betão de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Sidney Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot. BRC WeeD Dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Pimenta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Sidney Pimenta notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral. Betão de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Beltrami in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Eduardo Beltrami ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0.
