Guilherme Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Paraibano in the 8th minute of the match. Christiano Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Guilherme Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Paraibano in the 9th minute of play. Guilherme Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Paraibano in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by René Retes. The supporters of Marquês de Herval booed when Corinthos Manuela F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mavrudi Shtúrbanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If German Cano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd match minute, Marquês de Herval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selami Rezan to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asdrubal Fernandes got free with Dida Taffarel in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes in the game, Alfredo Martins dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 29th minute, Alfredo Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marquês de Herval fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 31stth minute of the game Nestor Paraibano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Guilherme Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Alfredo Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marquês de Herval's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd match minute, Marquês de Herval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Cano to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. René Retes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Dida Taffarel made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Paraibano came free, but Guilherme Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Retes in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Hellsing in the 44th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when René Retes came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Cano in the 58th minute of play. When Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s René Retes in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marquês de Herval's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60th minute Torbjörn Hellsing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, German Cano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Guilherme Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute German Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torbjörn Hellsing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marquês de Herval made a substitution. Acácio Cunha replaced Valentin Vizitiu. In the 74th minute, German Cano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner ended in Asdrubal Fernandes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel did a great save. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Hellsing in the 86th minute of play. Asdrubal Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dida Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Guilherme Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Corinthos Manuela F.C. from getting a goal against them. Jeferson Silva hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Marquês de Herval's Gao Xiang Guang couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Corinthos Manuela F.C.. Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Guilherme Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marquês de Herval eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
