Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Saldanha came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guilherme Zanette could save by the left post. Gracie Barra were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rubens Rezende took the corner. Falcão Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position.
