Santos Campineiro's Ahmad Reza Asadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Venceslao in the 12th minute of play. Ahmad Reza Asadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Rodolfo Atarrabi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 22 played minutes Santos Campineiro got a freekick which was hit by Allan Dias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onuralp Ergüden in the 31st minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Vitaliy Vischak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Campineiro's Sidnei Baptista was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 35 minutes, Sidnei Baptista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos Campineiro and the Soroca F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Santos Campineiro getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sidnei Baptista hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmad Reza Asadi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Adrián Espadas took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmad Reza Asadi. Ahmad Reza Asadi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Adrián Espadas sped through Santos Campineiro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmad Reza Asadi. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lisandro Beltxe hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Sidnei Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrián Espadas to make the kick off. Soroca F.C.'s Cyprien Combaz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Allan Dias in the 51 minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Onuralp Ergüden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Baptista in the 55th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Vitaliy Vischak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Otávio Souto fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos Campineiro's protests and gave Otávio Souto a yellow card for diving instead. Otávio Souto hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Rodolfo Atarrabi. A collision led to Santos Campineiro getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Otávio Souto hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes, Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soroca F.C. reached it. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Santos Campineiro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zézinho Neiva took the corner. The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva to fire away a dangerous shot which Ahmad Reza Asadi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 62nd minute Godofredo Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmad Reza Asadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidnei Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitaliy Vischak having to make a save. Vitaliy Vischak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Răzvan Necula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ahmad Reza Asadi made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Răzvan Necula kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmad Reza Asadi. That made the score 1-8 in the 74 minute of play. With a little luck, Santos Campineiro's Ahmad Reza Asadi got control of the ball when Răzvan Necula tried to sneak it across the goal line. Răzvan Necula who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Ahmad Reza Asadi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Răzvan Necula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmad Reza Asadi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Soroca F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santos Campineiro.
