The MINEIROS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A hard shot 16 in the game by Mário Maradona from a close distance when the talented Sobhy Paredes managed to make a qualified save. E.C.Pelotas's players were relieved. In the 17th minute Eliézer Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sobhy Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th play minute Mário Maradona came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sobhy Paredes. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, E.C.Pelotas's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Vianna came free, but Sobhy Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MINEIROS's Bon Čáp was substituted for Mário Maradona. Sobhy Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bon Čáp in the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, E.C.Pelotas's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Vianna came free, but Sobhy Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murilo Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Thommy Jadis made a huge save. After 95 played minutes E.C.Pelotas got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Rolfsson. In the 96th minute of the match Ricardo Custódio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sobhy Paredes skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that MINEIROS were the better team. MINEIROS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
