With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Martins in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Pirani saved FORÇA JOVEM F.C from getting behind. Alfredo Martins scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Pirani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Alfredo Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marquês de Herval fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If German Cano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Alfredo Martins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Juan Pirani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 24 played minutes FORÇA JOVEM F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Severo. Juan Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alfredo Martins struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Juan Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquês de Herval. Alfredo Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Juan Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute of the match, Murilo Hoffmann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juan Pirani was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alfredo Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Pirani having to interfere. Juan Pirani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Martins's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Alfredo Martins succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-12 in the 70th playminute. 74 minutes into the match, Alfredo Martins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Pirani. FORÇA JOVEM F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. Marquês de Herval's Acácio Cunha was substituted for Valentin Vizitiu. In the 78th match minute, FORÇA JOVEM F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno de Barros to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Martins couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Marquês de Herval could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FORÇA JOVEM F.C throughout the match.
