Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gogo Lesardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alfredo Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho de Queirós having to interfere. In the 4thth minute of the game Alfredo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Alfredo Martins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pedrinho de Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when German Cano came free, but Pedrinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Marquês de Herval were awarded a corner. Pedro Luís da Rocha went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Pedro Luís da Rocha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedrinho de Queirós quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 15 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Pedrinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrinho de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Alfredo Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marquês de Herval fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 27 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho de Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Alfredo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Martins scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedrinho de Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Nestor Paraibano made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho de Queirós. Alfa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 40th minute, Luís Fábio Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42ndth minute of the game Alfredo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Martins was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Martins kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedrinho de Queirós. That made the score 0-6 in the 51 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 55th minute of play forced Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alfa FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alfa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Alfredo Martins scored to the left of an out of position Pedrinho de Queirós, making the score, 0-7. In the 64th minute, Alfredo Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrinho de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. When Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alfa FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pedrinho de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Martins's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Martins in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho de Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marquês de Herval's Acácio Cunha was substituted for Valentin Vizitiu. Alfredo Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Pedrinho de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Narciso Aparecido got a free kick in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Martins in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrinho de Queirós saved Alfa FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Paraibano got free with Pedrinho de Queirós in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marquês de Herval's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
