A well-hit corner resulted in Nestor Paraibano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Túlio Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deivid Galvão. Túlio Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Cano in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Sá to maneuver through the defense. Deivid Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Dida Taffarel made a huge save. Nestor Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Túlio Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Túlio Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Paraibano in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 26th minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Túlio Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Túlio Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Paraibano in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Túlio Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Selami Rezan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, German Cano made a precise shot to the right of Túlio Silva. Toa Toa 4EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 39thth minute of the game Alfredo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Nestor Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Sá to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes into the game, Marquês de Herval's Nestor Paraibano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Marquês de Herval were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deivid Galvão to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Cristian Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Toa Toa 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Garcia. Alfredo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Denílson Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toa Toa 4EVER's protests and gave Denílson Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Marquês de Herval booed when Toa Toa 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Nestor Paraibano put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Túlio Silva. 68 minutes into the game, Alfredo Martins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Túlio Silva. Alfredo Martins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 74th minute, German Cano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 minutes, Bernardinho Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toa Toa 4EVER and the Marquês de Herval players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Bernardinho Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marquês de Herval made a substitution. Jair Bostan replaced Selami Rezan. In the 82ndth minute of the game Gao Xiang Guang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva got control of the ball when Nestor Paraibano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nestor Paraibano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Túlio Silva made a huge save. Túlio Silva made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Nestor Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Túlio Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Pedro Luís da Rocha in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Toa Toa 4EVER's Franklin Sá. When Rogério Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toa Toa 4EVER's protests and gave Rogério Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rogério Garcia hit a great ball. Túlio Silva came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Nestor Paraibano. But to his dismay, Nestor Paraibano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.
