Alfredo Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elder Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match, German Cano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elder Vergílio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, FC St. Pauli's Matheus Messias got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Nestor Paraibano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Elder Vergílio made a huge save. Elder Vergílio came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Nestor Paraibano. But to his dismay, Nestor Paraibano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. The FC St. Pauli supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marquês de Herval's performance. The match ended with a win for Marquês de Herval.
