In the 13th minute, Guo Ao made a precise shot to the right of Nico Furlan. DENVER™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nenko Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Lira in the 16th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Washington Lira was the one to do the kick off. DENVER™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Roy Makaay scored to the left of an out of position Nico Furlan, making the score, 0-3. Guo Ao's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Nico Furlan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Chiquinho Silveira hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goalkeeper Nico Furlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roy Makaay. Roy Makaay in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nico Furlan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. DENVER™'s Délio Campidelis was substituted for Washington Lira. 75 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goalkeeper Nico Furlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roy Makaay. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, William Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villaverde Celeste Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but William Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nico Furlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Makaay in the 78th minute. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nenko Reza should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd play minute Roy Makaay came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nico Furlan. 1-4. Villaverde Celeste Clube played a much better game than DENVER™ and deserved their victory. The DENVER™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
