FURIOSOS's Luiz Fábio Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FURIOSOS from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Massa came free, but Pedrinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Lesardo in the 13th minute of play forced FURIOSOS's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Lobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Luiz Fábio Magalhães made a huge save. After 17 minutes of play, FURIOSOS's Tony Madureira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Fábio Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson de Souza in the 20th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Luiz Fábio Magalhães successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

With an all-out effort, FURIOSOS's Pedrinho de Queirós threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Igor Secco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Denílson de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FURIOSOS's Kauã Munhoz got a free kick in the 56th minute. Pedrinho de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Luiz Fábio Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferreirinha Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fábio Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferreirinha Vinhas went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Alfa FC were furious when Luís Fábio Pontes was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alfa FC! After 94 minutes, Duda Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FURIOSOS and the Alfa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, FURIOSOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Rosa to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alfa FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FURIOSOS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
