Luís Fernando Oliveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fernando Oliveira ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic got control of the ball when Luís Fernando Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Fernando Oliveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a huge save. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sreten Popovic during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pichuleitors FC booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sreten Popovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serbia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Pichuleitors FC's Luís Fernando Oliveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lolo Guerola got free with Zvezdan Nedeljkovic in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pichuleitors FC's Luís Fernando Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fernando Oliveira went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Pichuleitors FC's Alifonso Irisarri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sreten Popovic hit a great ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alifonso Irisarri went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The Pichuleitors FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Pichuleitors FC's Luís Fernando Oliveira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sreten Popovic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Maurilio Moya notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Serbia booed when Pichuleitors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart-Jan De Messemaeckre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Serbia defense, Alifonso Irisarri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. The Serbia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zvezdan Nedeljkovic should have stopped the shot. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alifonso Irisarri in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Luís Fernando Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
