Estadio Caleufú
Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabiano Trabucco started the match with the kick off. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Caleufú's Fabiano Trabucco. But to his dismay, Fabiano Trabucco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Trabucco, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Caleufú got a corner. Croatia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Gonzales ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabiano Trabucco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ilija Skugor. That made the score 3-0 in the 16 minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Fabiano Trabucco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caleufú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Trabucco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Fabiano Trabucco sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Caleufú's corner Fernando Gonzales fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ilija Skugor quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Caleufú's Eduardo Madeo got a free kick in the 25th minute. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Trabucco in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Caleufú's Fabiano Trabucco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Caleufú's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Gonzales in the 35th minute. A collision led to Caleufú getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dorival Motta hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Hendrik de Lange recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor. Hendrik de Lange showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. 44 minutes into the match, Patricio Rico notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

If Patricio Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Fabiano Trabucco notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Madeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Caleufú's Fabiano Trabucco. But to his dismay, Fabiano Trabucco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 64th minute, Eduardo Madeo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caleufú fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Toni Mauzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Urtsin having to interfere. Alejo Urtsin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Bosak in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Trabucco in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilija Skugor saved Croatia from getting behind. Ilija Skugor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Rico went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. After 81 minutes, Toni Mauzer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Croatia and the Caleufú players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Toni Mauzer. After 83 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Neven Culina. 12-0 became the score in the 84th minute when Fabiano Trabucco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 87th minute Eduardo Madeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Caleufú's Fabiano Trabucco made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilija Skugor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aldo Olando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilija Skugor. Croatia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Damir Pongrac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croatia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caleufú the free kick. Damir Pongrac hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Caleufú walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
