The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Carqueja defense, Rosario Martel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Batzer. The Carqueja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Batzer should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Rosario Martel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars Batzer. Carqueja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosario Martel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Ereinotz Masbernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Programayin's Hamza Emin was substituted for Rosario Martel. When Carqueja's Oliverio Cavallosa in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Programayin's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamza Emin in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Batzer saved Carqueja from getting behind. Hans-Jürgen Pötscher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliverio Cavallosa in the 41st minute of play. Programayin's Hans-Jürgen Pötscher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Programayin from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elizardo Massana was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes Carqueja's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antonio Florian who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Antonio Florian got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lars Batzer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Enmanuel Herdozain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Carqueja getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Lauro Santandres hit a great ball. Lars Batzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Emin in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Carqueja's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Emin came free, but Lars Batzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Programayin's Antonio Cugini was substituted for Conrado Guter. After 67 minutes Carqueja's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antonio Florian who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Programayin's Huly Larrauri got a free kick in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Vielva in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans-Jürgen Pötscher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Mario Vielva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carqueja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Carqueja's Tiago Zotillo was substituted for Oliverio Cavallosa. Hans-Jürgen Pötscher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Vielva, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Carqueja made a substitution. Roderigo Villamizar replaced Ereinotz Masbernat. Lauro Santandres made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cortez Olalde however managed to control. When the final whistle went the supporters of Programayin were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Carqueja side.
