Roman Corte took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Weather Piedrahita. Weather Piedrahita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Sarandeses in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florencio Herbella in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avram Popoiu saved Deportivo Damasco F.C. from getting behind. Weather Piedrahita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Sarandeses in the 27th minute of play. Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Couto in the 29th minute of play. Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Vladimir Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Corte to make the kick off. Cristobal Tabby charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristobal Tabby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Guilherme Sarandeses from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Weather Piedrahita's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lucas Merolla charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Merolla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deportivo Damasco F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Lucas Merolla hit a great ball. Atletico Maturrango's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Vladimir Couto scored to the left of an out of position Weather Piedrahita, making the score, 0-3. Avram Popoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Herbella, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Weather Piedrahita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita got control of the ball when Aldo Damasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Tiadoro Cores dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Atletico Maturrango made a substitution. Orlin Hinojosa replaced Lucas Sardaneta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Ybarbo in the 79th minute of play forced Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s goalkeeper Avram Popoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Tiadoro Cores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
