Guillem Bugedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Themba Takane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Damasco in the 30th minute of the match. With 42 minutes on the clock, Arturo Persia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Cimarrones F.C. a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Demetrio Giacchetti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Avram Popoiu. 1-1. Avram Popoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brecht Dheedene in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Eloy Janez hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Deportivo Damasco F.C. made a substitution. Tiadoro Cores replaced Guaberto Ramone. Cimarrones F.C.'s Taniel Kips was substituted for Demetrio Giacchetti. Themba Takane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiadoro Cores in the 91st minute of the match.
