The audience was convinced that Savier Milroy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruslan Reichl was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Aurelio Tanio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes CF Eleven Lions 2007 got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Guerreiro. El Eterno Campeón's Leovigildo Abumohor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Claudio Mele but with some difficulty. El Eterno Campeón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leovigildo Abumohor in the 25th minute. The corner led El Eterno Campeón's Leovigildo Abumohor to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudio Mele despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Ignatius Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruslan Reichl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairon Berger in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmacio Blai in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruslan Reichl saved El Eterno Campeón from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, CF Eleven Lions 2007's goalkeeper Claudio Mele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constancio Binder. Constancio Binder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Claudio Mele skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 44th minute Brent-Jan Turpin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Mele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brent-Jan Turpin struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Claudio Mele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Eterno Campeón. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brent-Jan Turpin to make the kick off. Claudio Mele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent-Jan Turpin in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to El Eterno Campeón getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Leovigildo Abumohor hit a great ball. Ruslan Reichl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Blai in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Blai got free with Ruslan Reichl in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Leovigildo Abumohor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CF Eleven Lions 2007's Claudio Mele did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constancio Binder in the 66th minute of play forced CF Eleven Lions 2007's goalkeeper Claudio Mele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brent-Jan Turpin in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Mele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruslan Reichl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savier Milroy in the 70th minute of the match. If Brent-Jan Turpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CF Eleven Lions 2007's Ivo Cerezo was substituted for Bairon Berger. Ivo Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Leovigildo Abumohor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Mele. CF Eleven Lions 2007's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leovigildo Abumohor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After having played for 81 minutes, Brent-Jan Turpin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Eterno Campeón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent-Jan Turpin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When El Eterno Campeón's Constancio Binder in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CF Eleven Lions 2007's goalie prevented a goal. Ruslan Reichl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, El Eterno Campeón's Ignatius Galo got a free kick in the 91st minute. The supporters of CF Eleven Lions 2007 booed when El Eterno Campeón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the El Eterno Campeón players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
