Dacian Măcriș blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Västlund having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaf Fernström during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dacian Măcriș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Papilio's Ivan Västlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Papilio from getting a goal against them. Hugo Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ivan Västlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Măcriș in the 21st minute of play forced Papilio's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Västlund made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Agron Elmasllari sent off a good shot on target. Papilio's Ivan Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Măcriș in the 30th minute of play. Agron Elmasllari's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivan Västlund firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gustaf Fernström got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 33 played minutes Papilio got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Fernström. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Agron Elmasllari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vae Victis!!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Agron Elmasllari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Västlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ivan Västlund made a huge save. With a little luck, Papilio's Ivan Västlund got control of the ball when Agron Elmasllari tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute Dacian Măcriș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, Jan-Ove Vedholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Vedholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Västlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Carlos de Salles went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Ove Vedholm to make the kick off. Papilio's Ivan Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agron Elmasllari in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Agron Elmasllari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vae Victis!! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Vae Victis!!'s Emmanuel Gigliotti was substituted for Agron Elmasllari. Vae Victis!!'s Fernandinho Mota was substituted for Hugo Jacinto. Ivan Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Ţirpescu in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Papilio's Yngve Sjöberg got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 80 minutes, José Carlos de Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. Papilio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 94 minutes into the game, Vae Victis!!'s Valentin Ţirpescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Västlund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0.
