The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 14 minutes into the match, De Gulden Draak's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar came free, but Siim Kikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Lihach in the 16th minute of play forced De Gulden Draak's goalkeeper Siim Kikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siim Kikas was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Athletic Bostero's Nicolas Tipi got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute of the match, Erwin Backes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cecilio Martinez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cecilio Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Heremans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Ariel Lihach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Kikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siim Kikas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erwin Backes might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Martinez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erwin Backes ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Peres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Cecilio Martinez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Athletic Bostero's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Heremans came free, but Cecilio Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 50th minute, Ralph Spaan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Peres in the 52nd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas. Siim Kikas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Siim Kikas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th match minute, Athletic Bostero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Tipi to maneuver through the defense. Siim Kikas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Athletic Bostero were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after De Gulden Draak's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ariel Lihach took the corner. Siim Kikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes De Gulden Draak got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Ebner. The Athletic Bostero supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Athletic Bostero would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
