The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloka Waziri in the 5th minute of play forced Mish Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Feng Xiang Hai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Azly Vijiaratnam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feng Xiang Hai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shen Xun Yu in the 10th minute of play forced Mish Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Feng Xiang Hai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Billy Tunberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Fitriansyah in the 11th minute. Brighouse FC's Billy Tunberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Brighouse FC from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Brighouse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oleg Sariyski came free, but Billy Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feng Xiang Hai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shen Xun Yu in the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, Brighouse FC's Billy Tunberg got control of the ball when Ceferino Erroman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Brighouse FC's goalkeeper Billy Tunberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Erroman. 20 minutes into the match, Mish Fútbol Club's Ronaldo Fitriansyah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Billy Tunberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Brighouse FC booed when Mish Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Ledesma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brighouse FC's Billy Tunberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Brighouse FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Brighouse FC's Abdullahi Anyanwu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Billy Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Alkvist in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Brighouse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdullahi Anyanwu to maneuver through the defense. Billy Tunberg made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ronaldo Fitriansyah sent off a good shot on target. Billy Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Alkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Oleg Sariyski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Billy Tunberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 41st minute Kirk Fitriansyah suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Shen Xun Yu fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brighouse FC's protests and gave Shen Xun Yu a yellow card for diving instead. Shen Xun Yu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Brighouse FC got a freekick which was hit by Sule Akpan. Billy Tunberg came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Mish Fútbol Club's Matias Chumo. But to his dismay, Matias Chumo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Fitriansyah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Eloka Waziri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feng Xiang Hai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Erroman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feng Xiang Hai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ebelechukwu Agoda in the 60th minute of the match. Brighouse FC's Billy Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oleg Sariyski in the 63rd minute of play. Billy Tunberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Alkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Brighouse FC's Billy Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Alkvist in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Abdullahi Anyanwu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Vilips kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Mish Fútbol Club's Pepe Abastas was substituted for Celso Macias. Fred Vilips kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Mish Fútbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Azly Vijiaratnam ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mish Fútbol Club made a substitution. Victoriano Lixandro replaced Matias Chumo. After 84 played minutes Brighouse FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdullahi Anyanwu. Hastomo Fitriansyah, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azly Vijiaratnam got free with Feng Xiang Hai in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Alkvist in the 94th minute of play forced Brighouse FC's goalkeeper Billy Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 played minutes Brighouse FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdullahi Anyanwu. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mish Fútbol Club had won after a very even match.
