An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Aimar in the 4th minute of play forced Papilio's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Västlund made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Anibal Macerio sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute Maximo Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th play minute Anibal Macerio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ivan Västlund. 1-0. Marcial Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Västlund having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Papilio's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Macerio. If Paulo Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Västlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Edward Enegren's late challenge caught a LOS PIRATAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Enegren helped the player get up and apologised. Matias Jakobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Hansson in the 28th minute of play. After 30 played minutes LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Macerio. Amadeo Colas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. LOS PIRATAS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 35 played minutes Paulo Etxatxu rounded Papilio's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Jimmie Löfdahl was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute Gaspar Inautzi ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Ivan Västlund. 3-0. Marcial Aimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Västlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Macerio in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jan-Ove Vedholm made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Ove Vedholm struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Matias Jakobe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papilio. Yngve Sjöberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Matias Jakobe made a huge save. When Anibal Macerio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. Ivan Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Aimar in the 64th minute of the match. Papilio's Ivan Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Colas in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Roland Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Colas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Västlund having to make a save. Ivan Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Etxatxu in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Paulo Etxatxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS PIRATAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Roland Kilström kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Marcial Aimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOS PIRATAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papilio the free kick. LOS PIRATAS's Amadeo Colas got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Aimar in the 84th minute of the match. Edward Enegren kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Gullesson in the 86th minute of play forced LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Matias Jakobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes, Augusto Naldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS PIRATAS and the Papilio players grew even worse after the yellow card. LOS PIRATAS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
