The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Stommeer A's Vinícius Junior nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Damien Roetering ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Gabriel Cabral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 14th minute, Dacian Măcriș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Vinícius Junior managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stommeer A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinícius Junior was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Spiering made a great header on Stommeer A's corner, it was just that Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Junior in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Gabriel Cabral saved Vae Victis!! from getting behind. Tiago Gabriel Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinícius Junior's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The supporters of Stommeer A booed when Vae Victis!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, Richard Spiering stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal and Richard Spiering tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Reinier Ieberink blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Gabriel Cabral having to make a save. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Stommeer A's Vinícius Junior. But to his dismay, Vinícius Junior quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 39 played minutes Vae Victis!! got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Magalhães. Vinícius Junior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Cabral having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Junior in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Gabriel Cabral saved Vae Victis!! from getting behind. In the 44th minute Stommeer A were awarded a corner. Richard Spiering went to the cornerflag to take it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Junior to make the kick off. Martijn Jol came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tiago Gabriel Cabral could save by the left post. Stommeer A's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Spiering in the 52nd minute. Stommeer A's Richard Spiering was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edgardo Oinaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinícius Junior who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Tiago Gabriel Cabral when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Stommeer A getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alfredo Zarco hit a great ball. Vae Victis!!'s Emmanuel Gigliotti was substituted for Agron Elmasllari. Vae Victis!! made a substitution. Valentin Ţirpescu replaced Dacian Măcriș. In the 65th minute, Alfredo Zarco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s Valentin Ţirpescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Oinaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vae Victis!!'s Délio Tasso got a free kick in the 68th minute. Vae Victis!!'s Fernandinho Mota was substituted for Hugo Jacinto. Martijn Jol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vae Victis!!'s Fernandinho Mota got a free kick in the 74th minute. Damien Roetering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinícius Junior struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stommeer A. In the 82nd minute, Vinícius Junior reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiago Gabriel Cabral. The goal made the score 0-5. Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Vae Victis!! from getting a goal against them. Vinícius Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Vae Victis!! getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Emmanuel Gigliotti hit a great ball. Damien Roetering kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Vinícius Junior's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Tiago Gabriel Cabral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Tiago Gabriel Cabral managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Stommeer A's Vinícius Junior fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edgardo Oinaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Ţirpescu in the 95th minute of play.
