The tension between the Brighouse FC and the LOS PIRATAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, LOS PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Frederik to maneuver through the defense. In the 10thth minute of the game Azly Vijiaratnam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS PIRATAS's Matias Jakobe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. LOS PIRATAS's Matias Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sochi Ugochukwu in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Ebelechukwu Agoda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Jakobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Romeo Tomi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 23rd minute, Brighouse FC's Temple Oluwatola seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Temple Oluwatola the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Brighouse FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Temple Oluwatola had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Baba Dickson hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Brighouse FC booed when LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Shen Xun Yu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Azly Vijiaratnam to make the kick off. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Brighouse FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
