But to his dismay, Jule Sylta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. It was Feliksas Čepulionis who took care of the corner kick. 17 minutes into the match, Mauricio Ekaitz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Estrella Roja Фк's Maido Hindpere. Maido Hindpere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mauricio Ekaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Mauricio Ekaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maido Hindpere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estrella Roja Фк's goalkeeper Maido Hindpere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja Фк's goalkeeper Maido Hindpere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Ekaitz. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Mauricio Ekaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hermosillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Ekaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maido Hindpere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jule Sylta was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Triantafyllou got free with Samuel Evarado in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja Фк's goal looked a bit too open when Feliksas Čepulionis came free, but Maido Hindpere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shen Yin Le tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Maido Hindpere. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 56th minute. Mauricio Ekaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maido Hindpere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Amadeo Bermel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Evarado was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the game, Mauricio Ekaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hermosillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrella Roja Фк the free kick. Hermosillo FC made a substitution. Amuchechukwu McPherson replaced Javier Quentin. Maido Hindpere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Ekaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Jule Sylta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrella Roja Фк and the Hermosillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Estrella Roja Фк getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jule Sylta hit a great ball. Estrella Roja Фк made a substitution. Don Ogazón replaced Jule Sylta. Jule Sylta kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Mauricio Ekaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maido Hindpere. Estrella Roja Фк's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Ekaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Estrella Roja Фк's 王烽星 was substituted for Amadeo Bermel. After 77th play minutes Mauricio Ekaitz shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Maido Hindpere and just under the crossbar into goal. Maido Hindpere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliksas Čepulionis in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estrella Roja Фк players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hermosillo FC.
