An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Kosakowski in the 9th minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Paulino Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Cauan Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Lain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute Julian Kosakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Lain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by 柯西升 with Julian Kosakowski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Virgil van Dijk kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Richárd Textex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Paulino Lain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Beattie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes ORIZABA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Virgil van Dijk. After 34 minutes of play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Cauan Rosa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Lain was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Julian Kosakowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulino Lain, 2-1. Leonardo Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Les Tigres's Rodolfo Luken was substituted for Silvano Ihazintu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Kosakowski to make the kick off. Les Tigres's Paulino Lain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Kosakowski in the 53rd minute of play. Paulino Lain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Lain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Hats, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Les Tigres's Paulino Lain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Beattie in the 90th minute of play. Lars Rönn charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Rönn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fausto Beattie might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulino Lain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Beattie ran back to his position shaking his head. ORIZABA F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
