Samuel Evarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Leonardo Tipi could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Samuel Evarado however easily saved by the left post. Chico Che kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Les Tigres's Edvard Võsandi was substituted for Sermet Erva. In the 55thth minute of the game Mauricio Ekaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les Tigres's Paulino Lain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuel Evarado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Võsandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Evarado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Mauricio Ekaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Lain. Les Tigres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Ekaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 65th minute Leonardo Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Javier Quentin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Hermosillo FC's Jonatan Fraco was substituted for Alejandro Lope. After 74 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Quentin. After having played for 75 minutes, Leonardo Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Tigres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Tipi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Evarado came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi. But to his dismay, Leonardo Tipi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Paulino Lain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Ekaitz in the 80th minute. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Tipi in the 82nd minute of play. Les Tigres were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Hermosillo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Severino Estevez took the corner. Paulino Lain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Ekaitz in the 85th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boguslaw Wydrych got free with Paulino Lain in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Luboš Štencl. A sloppy throw-in by Patrick Beckham in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hermosillo FC's Boguslaw Wydrych. Mauricio Ekaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Paulino Lain made a huge save. Samuel Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Tipi in the 96th minute of the match. Les Tigres were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
