The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Fliz got free with Cornelio Villegas in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Godfredo Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Sebastián Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cavaliers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Sebastián Villa came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Cavaliers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastián Villa couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the game, Sebastián Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Elar Quero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the game, Nicanor Erramun threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cavaliers FC's Efrain Villegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Cavaliers FC booed when Dunamis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Erramun didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastián Villa was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Sebastián Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Elar Quero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dunamis made a substitution. Vinicio Bixintxo replaced Nicanor Erramun. Dunamis's Lucjan Sowa was substituted for Florentino Orixe. 62 minutes in the game Vinicio Bixintxo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Godfredo Eufemio. A collision led to Dunamis getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Godfredo Eufemio hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Dunamis got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Eufemio. Elar Quero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Villa in the 68th minute of the match. The corner led to Cavaliers FC's Efrain Villegas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Cavaliers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastián Villa to maneuver through the defense. Dunamis's Elar Quero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Villa in the 74th minute of play. Cornelio Villegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Fliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Villa in the 78th minute of play forced Dunamis's goalkeeper Elar Quero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cavaliers FC's Pastor Etxeberri was substituted for Ambrosio Iratxo. 82 minutes into the game, Bruno Iigo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cavaliers FC's Damian Jordy quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Dunamis's Elar Quero got control of the ball when Teofilo Mikeldi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornelio Villegas came out of the goal and Franco Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cavaliers FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
