Epifanio Intxixu made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eusebio Beltran. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Remigio in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandros Ismael saved Águilas Poblanas from getting behind. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Águilas Poblanas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquin Uxio was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Godofredo Remigio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Mehmet Arif Evvel hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Beltran came free, but Olavo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavo Henriques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Beltran's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Alexandros Ismael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Remigio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Godofredo Remigio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Remigio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alin Cristaldo struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Olavo Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Águilas Poblanas. In the 29th minute of the match Águilas Poblanas got a corner. Racing Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucjan Gollob ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Epifanio Intxixu hit a great ball. Eusebio Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Henriques having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alin Cristaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Águilas Poblanas's supporters rose to their feet, but Alin Cristaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Henriques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Remigio came free, but Alexandros Ismael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Epifanio Intxixu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Racing Club's Fermin Hibai was substituted for Julian Tejerina. Racing Club made a substitution. Fernandinho Rivera replaced Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz. Racing Club's George Orwel was substituted for Godofredo Remigio. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Orwel in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alin Cristaldo got free with Olavo Henriques in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Eusebio Beltran put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Olavo Henriques. Águilas Poblanas's Godofredo Hibai was substituted for Alin Cristaldo. Alexandros Ismael came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's George Orwel. But to his dismay, George Orwel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Olavo Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Txindoki in the 78th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Águilas Poblanas's Virgilio Txindoki made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olavo Henriques was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Iker Urti. Alexandros Ismael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Orwel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Txindoki. Racing Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
