After a rather tough play, Equipo's Sebastiano Disselkoen got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Andres Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tequileros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Frasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ayhan Vuralhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehat Kovaçi went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Edgard Magdaleno sent off a good shot on target. Andreas Brehme hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Mehat Kovaçi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ayhan Vuralhan having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mehat Kovaçi came free, but Ayhan Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehat Kovaçi scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ayhan Vuralhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tequileros FC's Saverio Roano was substituted for Andres Frasco. When Tequileros FC's Conrado Baudelio in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Baudelio to make the kick off. Ayhan Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Conrado Baudelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Furman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Tequileros FC were awarded a corner. Edgard Magdaleno went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Edgard Magdaleno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Equipo's Ismael Furman did a great save. Mehat Kovaçi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ayhan Vuralhan made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Lécuyer came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Edgard Lécuyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Lécuyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Lécuyer in the 68th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Waclaw Szostak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Sotero hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes in the game Jairo Zambrano after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Ayhan Vuralhan. A very good opportunity. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Lécuyer in the 80th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Edgard Lécuyer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Furman. Equipo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Lécuyer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some careless play in the Equipo defense, Edgard Lécuyer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Furman. The Equipo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Furman should have stopped the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
