With a little luck, Tequileros FC's Ayhan Vuralhan got control of the ball when Alin Cristaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgard Lécuyer's late challenge caught a Águilas Poblanas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Lécuyer helped the player get up and apologised. Edgard Lécuyer hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Edgard Lécuyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tequileros FC's Ayhan Vuralhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Tequileros FC from getting a goal against them. Epifanio Intxixu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ayhan Vuralhan came out and tried to block the shot, but Epifanio Intxixu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Alexandros Ismael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Roano in the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Magdaleno came free, but Alexandros Ismael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jedrzej Lampe fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Águilas Poblanas's protests and gave Jedrzej Lampe a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Jedrzej Lampe. After 47 minutes, Andres Frasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tequileros FC and the Águilas Poblanas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Águilas Poblanas's Virgilio Txindoki was substituted for Epifanio Intxixu. After 48 played minutes Tequileros FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Frasco. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Lécuyer made a kick off. Alexandros Ismael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Magdaleno in the 53rd minute of the match. Tequileros FC's Ayhan Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Beltran in the 54th minute of play. Alin Cristaldo scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ayhan Vuralhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tequileros FC made a substitution. Conrado Baudelio replaced Edgard Lécuyer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Magdaleno in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandros Ismael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Tequileros FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Tequileros FC's Edgard Magdaleno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tequileros FC made a substitution. Andreas Brehme replaced Han Yue Hong. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Klement Malik replaced Victor Macias. 67 minutes into the game, Águilas Poblanas's Eusebio Beltran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ayhan Vuralhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. With 71 minutes on the clock, Blas Esiquio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tequileros FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Beltran in the 77th minute of play forced Tequileros FC's goalkeeper Ayhan Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandros Ismael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Baudelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Ciro Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Águilas Poblanas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Matai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayhan Vuralhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Águilas Poblanas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
