Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Joel Enekoitz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eloy Su, made in the 12th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Hermosillo FC defense, Peter Blomkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Evarado. The Hermosillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Evarado should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Peter Blomkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Evarado. Samuel Evarado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 24 minutes Hermosillo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Enekoitz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s corner Kosmas Banasopoulos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Samuel Evarado quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Peter Blomkvist put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel Evarado. With a little luck, Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado got control of the ball when Peter Blomkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Blomkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samuel Evarado came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Blomkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 36th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute of the game Eloy Su made a throw-in which Gonzalo Corderro played forward. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hermosillo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! After 57 minutes of play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Peter Blomkvist made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Evarado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Antonio Alzamendi replaced William Lebigot. Jonatan Fraco's late challenge caught a Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Boni in the 67th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Pietro Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Samuel Evarado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Pietro Salles came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pietro Salles couldn't finish the play. Nicasio Abad was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Mauricio Ekaitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Ekaitz really showed his touch with that goal: 8-1. After 77th play minutes Pietro Salles shot 9-1, a short shot which went by Samuel Evarado and just under the crossbar into goal. Chico Che got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Boguslaw Wydrych. In the 81st match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kosmas Banasopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Pietro Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pietro Salles in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Evarado saved Hermosillo FC from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ had played much better football throughout.
