Óscar 李渊 made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Equipo's Bruno Beugnet. 29 minutes into the match, Mehat Kovaçi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Henriques. Racing Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehat Kovaçi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Javier Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Kimetz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jairo Zambrano struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Olavo Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Equipo. 45 minutes into the match, Godofredo Remigio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Furman. Equipo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godofredo Remigio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Mehat Kovaçi took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olavo Henriques. Olavo Henriques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Racing Club's Aureliano Kismi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bruno Beugnet in the 54 minute of the game. Equipo's 胡益桦 was substituted for Unai Papachronopoulos. In the 64th minute George Orwel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Orwel. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Orwel in the 72nd minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Óscar 李渊 made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fernandinho Rivera however managed to control. Ismael Furman made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Orwel in the 79th minute. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Joaquin Uxio hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mehat Kovaçi came free, but Olavo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Sid Todd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olavo Henriques. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olavo Henriques should have stopped the shot. After having played for 89 minutes, George Orwel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Orwel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Equipo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquin Uxio took the corner. After taking down the ball on Racing Club's corner Eriberto Kimetz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ismael Furman quite easily take care of the ball. Emiliano Lluterio scored 4-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olavo Henriques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
