Hermosillo FC's Sonny Corleone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Rosa in the 8th minute of play. Sonny Corleone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Rosa in the 9th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Alcino Sarmento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ORIZABA F.C. and the Hermosillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Alcino Sarmento got a free kick in the 12th minute. Cauan Rosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sonny Corleone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. If Cauan Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Hermosillo FC's Sonny Corleone got control of the ball when Cauan Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chico Che hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Sonny Corleone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ORIZABA F.C. were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Hermosillo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgil van Dijk took the corner. Chico Che made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Boguslaw Wydrych immediately put the ball in play. In the 35th minute, Fausto Beattie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cauan Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cauan Rosa made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cauan Rosa in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonny Corleone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Sonny Corleone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Chico Che got a free kick in the 58th minute. Cauan Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Cauan Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Corleone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Cauan Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ORIZABA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauan Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sonny Corleone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Chico Che hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Chico Che. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Jonas Frutos got a free kick in the 80th minute. Hermosillo FC's Sonny Corleone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil van Dijk in the 81st minute of play. Mauricio Ekaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Richárd Textex made a huge save. Sonny Corleone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Rosa in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Richárd Textex had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Ekaitz. ORIZABA F.C.'s Richárd Textex proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save ORIZABA F.C. from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ORIZABA F.C. had won after a very even match.
