After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Pietro Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pietro Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Sadurni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisito Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Osoro got free with Nicasio Abad in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Baudelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Nicasio Abad made a huge save. Luisito Sadurni came out of the goal and Pietro Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tequileros FC made a substitution. Waclaw Szostak replaced Andreas Brehme. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. William Lebigot replaced Antonio Alzamendi. After taking down the ball on Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s corner Joel Enekoitz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luisito Sadurni quite easily take care of the ball. William Lebigot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tequileros FC's Venancio Azeari was substituted for Luisito Silvino. Nicasio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Frasco's shot from short distance in the 88th minute.
