An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Barral in the 31st minute of play forced Valiant F.C's goalkeeper David Haigh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Haigh was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geovani Barral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovani Barral in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Haigh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a left leg David Haigh saved Valiant F.C from getting behind. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valiant F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geovani Barral was slow to take the kick. During this time UD Fuerteventura's players had a chance to rest. The corner led UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral to fire away a dangerous shot which David Haigh despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jason Bartlett thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished David Haigh, a very annoying self made goal in the 72nd minute which led to 4-0. When UD Fuerteventura's Claris Quiroga in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on UD Fuerteventura's corner Platon Dorado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Haigh quite easily take care of the ball. Geovani Barral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Haigh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. David Haigh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Barral in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Geovani Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Haigh was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Haigh in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Geovani Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Fuerteventura's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Haigh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Barral in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Haigh saved Valiant F.C from getting behind. Valiant F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
