Claes Nordmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Santos de Buenos Aires FC booed when AFC Eskilstuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position.
