Josef Pištěk made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC Eskilstuna's Stefan Wiberg. In the 16th minute, Jörn Malmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, FC Blue Twister Liberec's Adam Wach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Nordmark made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Rolf Ekström's late challenge caught a FC Blue Twister Liberec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolf Ekström helped the player get up and apologised. AFC Eskilstuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Blue Twister Liberec the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolf Ekström got free with Zbyněk Ticháček in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Adam Wach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claes Nordmark. AFC Eskilstuna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Wach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Wach in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Nordmark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomáš Císař took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claes Nordmark. Claes Nordmark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The audience was convinced that Tomáš Císař's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Nordmark was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After 44 played minutes AFC Eskilstuna got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Trulsson. Václav Houba made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jakub Švec. After the first half FC Blue Twister Liberec were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Wach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Janis in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, FC Blue Twister Liberec's Jakub Švec ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claes Nordmark. Claes Nordmark yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-11. Adam Wach came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claes Nordmark could save by the left post. The supporters of FC Blue Twister Liberec booed when AFC Eskilstuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Wiberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Vebr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Claes Nordmark made a huge save. Zbyněk Ticháček didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolf Ekström went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-11 was the resulting score. FC Blue Twister Liberec's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
