Claes Nordmark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Fawell in the 11th minute of play. Claes Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Whalley in the 12th minute of the match. Claes Nordmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Coogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Bury in the 14th minute of play forced AFC Eskilstuna's goalkeeper Claes Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Dale Fawell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valiant F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Claes Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Butterfield in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Valiant F.C's Zbyszek Bury nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Nordmark made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Whalley in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Dale Fawell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claes Nordmark. AFC Eskilstuna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dale Fawell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Craig Butterfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claes Nordmark. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Craig Butterfield ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Eskilstuna's zone, Steve Whalley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Nordmark came out of the goal and Steve Whalley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Zbyszek Bury managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valiant F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbyszek Bury was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Nordmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the game, Valiant F.C's Zbyszek Bury nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Nordmark made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Claes Nordmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Craig Butterfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes, Dale Fawell made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the AFC Eskilstuna defense, Dale Fawell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claes Nordmark. The AFC Eskilstuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claes Nordmark should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Dale Fawell made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Valiant F.C's Steve Whalley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Laureano Lusa took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claes Nordmark. Claes Nordmark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. With a little luck, AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark got control of the ball when Wesley Coogan tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Whalley in the 66th minute of play forced AFC Eskilstuna's goalkeeper Claes Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Nordmark didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zbyszek Bury went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the match, Steve Whalley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claes Nordmark, 0-13. A collision led to Valiant F.C getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Zbyszek Bury hit a great ball. With a little luck, AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark got control of the ball when Steve Whalley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claes Nordmark didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wesley Coogan went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brad Welch got free with Claes Nordmark in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the match, AFC Eskilstuna's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Bury came free, but Claes Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marty Richardson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Claes Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Claes Nordmark managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Valiant F.C's Steve Whalley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Claes Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Fawell, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the AFC Eskilstuna defense, Zbyszek Bury kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claes Nordmark. The AFC Eskilstuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claes Nordmark should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Steve Whalley fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claes Nordmark, passed just outside the right post. 98 minutes into the match, AFC Eskilstuna's goalkeeper Claes Nordmark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steve Whalley.
