In the 3rd match minute, Key Biscayne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Hyatt to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th match minute, De Gulden Draak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ellis Thierse to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Breitbücher in the 7th minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Lajos Major to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Manuel Peres made a precise shot to the right of Lajos Major. Key Biscayne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute Ronald Breitbücher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Major saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Peres came free, but Lajos Major reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Jesse Shannon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Key Biscayne FC's Lajos Major played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Kettler in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, De Gulden Draak's Fox Abendroth got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, De Gulden Draak's goalkeeper Siim Kikas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Drew Latham. Lajos Major showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heinrich Rittmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 38th play minutes Heinrich Rittmann shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Lajos Major and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Manuel Peres sped through Key Biscayne FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lajos Major. Lajos Major took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in De Gulden Draak's zone, Mohammed Sprague stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siim Kikas came out of the goal and Mohammed Sprague tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronald Breitbücher made a kick off. If Heinrich Rittmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lajos Major took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Breitbücher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Nils Kettler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lajos Major was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 71 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Peres came free, but Lajos Major reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lajos Major showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heinrich Rittmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute Manuel Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Major saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lajos Major made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heinrich Rittmann in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jesse Shannon hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Ronald Breitbücher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lajos Major was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Drew Latham's late challenge caught a De Gulden Draak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Drew Latham helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Key Biscayne FC got a freekick which was hit by Drew Latham. After a rather tough play, De Gulden Draak's Roman Tolksdorf got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Manuel Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Major saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over De Gulden Draak could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Key Biscayne FC throughout the match.
