A well-hit corner resulted in Ladislao Rudolfo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yens Iansens in the 11th minute of play forced Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Feliciano Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Bazkoare scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Vermeiren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Xabier came free, but Adam Vermeiren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Obafemi N'Diaye, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Zacarias Milian charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Milian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Santos de Buenos Aires FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Milian. Adam Vermeiren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Bazkoare, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Viktor Lalkovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Vermeiren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Dutch Rebels got a freekick which was hit by Yens Iansens. Eriberto Bazkoare scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Vermeiren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 played minutes Santos de Buenos Aires FC got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Lalkovič. 36 minutes into the game, Eriberto Bazkoare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Adam Vermeiren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Wilfredo Vimaro got a free kick in the 39th minute. Dutch Rebels's Adam Vermeiren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Lalkovič in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Santos de Buenos Aires FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lauren Seveneijnts to strike the kick off in the second half. Anibal Xabier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adam Vermeiren came out and tried to block the shot, but Anibal Xabier slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 51st minute. A collision led to Santos de Buenos Aires FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Anibal Xabier hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Xabier in the 60th minute of play forced Dutch Rebels's goalkeeper Adam Vermeiren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Farstad hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Joaquin Ranolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Milian struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Adam Vermeiren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos de Buenos Aires FC. Santos de Buenos Aires FC made a substitution. Aurelio Bittor replaced Zacarias Milian. Viktor Lalkovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Vermeiren having to interfere. Joaquin Ranolfo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dutch Rebels's zone, Godofredo Rioja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Vermeiren came out of the goal and Godofredo Rioja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Godofredo Rioja put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Vermeiren. In the 85th minute, Serge De Kerpel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Godofredo Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Vermeiren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lauren Seveneijnts came free, but Feliciano Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Rioja got free with Adam Vermeiren in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Santos de Buenos Aires FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
