Robert McNeill kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Tommy Rabot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Higgins was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 8th minute, Toni Herrero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xaloc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 12th minute, Toni Herrero made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 15 minutes into the game, Tommy Rabot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Alexander Higgins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th match minute, Scotland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fletcher Main to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Humberto Barba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Barba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 31 minutes into the match, Tommy Rabot notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Scotland's Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Alexander Higgins successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Rabot went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Cefero Morera struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Alexander Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xaloc. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Zac O'Donnell made the kick off in the second half. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Rabot in the 52nd minute of play. Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josep Fontana in the 53rd minute of play. Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Barba went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Xaloc's Ton Torron was substituted for Humberto Barba. Helge Schleie made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Fletcher Main sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Scotland defense, Toni Herrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Xaloc's Tommy Rabot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Higgins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Rabot in the 81st minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Xaloc's Ton Torron made it 17-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Higgins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xaloc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
