In the 18th minute, Zivko Cvetkovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Momir Gisic made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rasko Nestorovski immediately put the ball in play. In the 23rd match minute, Atlanticalvos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurín Ferrel to maneuver through the defense. Atlanticalvos FC's Ricard Fierro got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atlanticalvos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sreten Popovic ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Maurín Ferrel fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlanticalvos FC's protests and gave Maurín Ferrel a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Maurín Ferrel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlanticalvos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurín Ferrel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sreten Popovic to strike the kick off in the second half.
