Ni Guang Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanyo Kobakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ni Guang Yong was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stanyo Kobakov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 16th minute, Gualter Távora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Limanowski in the 18th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Rodríguez was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Luís Ceresso got free with Chiquinho Aparecido in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adam Askew's late challenge caught a Pinhote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Ting Jian in the 75th minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Ni Guang Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ni Guang Yong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yu Ting Jian's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After 79 minutes Valiant F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damião Maia who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pinhote FC's Damião Maia to fire away a dangerous shot which Chiquinho Aparecido despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Waldemar Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Valiant F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Waldemar Rosen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 95 minutes Valiant F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damião Maia who took care of the corner kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pinhote FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
