An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Romero in the 11th minute of play forced Capdevilla's goalkeeper Pastor Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christophe Pourre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Diagur in the 14th minute. Nico Schellander shot from long distance after 20 played minutes, a shot that Pastor Valery with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. After 20 minutes of play, AITEC's Nico Schellander made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nico Schellander came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pastor Valery could save by the left post. Jonathan Mandrak lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Capdevilla made a substitution. Carolo Christobal replaced Filomeno Hitz. In the 74th minute, one of AITEC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AITEC. The referee gave Capdevilla a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adolfo Dolfo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AITEC's Christophe Pourre. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Capdevilla's zone, Nico Schellander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Valery came out of the goal and Nico Schellander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Capdevilla's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Neto came free, but Pastor Valery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Capdevilla's Pastor Valery got control of the ball when Nico Schellander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hector Berdoi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Schellander got free with Pastor Valery in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
