Gillermo Serrano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Halcon Sport 69's Gillermo Serrano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brice Carey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 11th minute Teofilo Ruete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Carey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Ruete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Carey having to interfere. Brice Carey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gillermo Serrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Derek Perry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Fuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tabby Leceta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Bryan Rosenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Key Biscayne FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryan Rosenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 played minutes Halcon Sport 69 got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Gorbea. Fresco Ceron made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Key Biscayne FC's Bryan Rosenberg. In the 43rdth minute of the game Gillermo Serrano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donzel Lena in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Halcon Sport 69's Gillermo Serrano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brice Carey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey got control of the ball when Pepillo Peñaranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Brice Carey managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Halcon Sport 69's Teofilo Ruete fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey got control of the ball when Pepillo Peñaranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gillermo Serrano in the 82nd minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Brice Carey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brice Carey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gillermo Serrano in the 84th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brice Carey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gillermo Serrano in the 96th minute of play. The Key Biscayne FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Halcon Sport 69 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
