Túlio Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Toninho Tepedino made a huge save. In the 25th minute Passa o Tanque MZ were awarded a corner. Christiano Neto went to the cornerflag to take it. Túlio Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Toninho Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Aracatiara EC's Toninho Tepedino got control of the ball when Túlio Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Túlio Godoi could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Toninho Tepedino however easily saved by the left post. If Júlio Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Cearense in the 36th minute of play forced Passa o Tanque MZ's goalkeeper Laerte de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Túlio Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laerte de Senna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Giovani Cearense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Adilson Cabral hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes of play, Passa o Tanque MZ's Júlio Maciel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho Tepedino was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Aracatiara EC's Giovani Cearense in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 71 played minutes Aracatiara EC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Esteves. Claudinei Paraense hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ricardinho Vander struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Laerte de Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aracatiara EC. In the 86th minute, Toninho Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Aracatiara EC's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Godoi came free, but Toninho Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílton Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílton Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Passa o Tanque MZ booed when Aracatiara EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aracatiara EC's Toninho Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Godoi in the 91st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aracatiara EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Passa o Tanque MZ. Christiano Neto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Toninho Tepedino. 2-2. Elano Loyola's late challenge caught a Passa o Tanque MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elano Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. Elano Loyola hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Toninho Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
