After some careless play in the Halcon Sport 69 defense, César Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tabby Leceta. The Halcon Sport 69 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tabby Leceta should have stopped the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Souza couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Halcon Sport 69 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fresco Ceron hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes, Passa o Tanque MZ's Christiano Neto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tabby Leceta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Passa o Tanque MZ reached it. Passa o Tanque MZ's Laerte de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Passa o Tanque MZ from getting a goal against them. Laerte de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gillermo Serrano in the 47th minute of the match. The Halcon Sport 69 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Passa o Tanque MZ were winning 0-2.

The supporters of Halcon Sport 69 booed when Passa o Tanque MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germano Gestoso, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. When the referee ended the match the Halcon Sport 69 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
